My first Puddle of Mudd show ever! I’m not sure what to expect to be honest.. I’m pretty sure these guys are way too big for this crappy venue.. & I’m sure someone in charge will be hearing about this later.. anyway I have been to this place a million times throughout the years to hang with the Guidos & sit on the beach.. I’m pretty excited since I’m sure I can work my way to the front…

So wow the show starts… sooo much fun! Soo many memories rushing back! Wow Vince Neil, a little more bloaty than i recalled.. awe.. anyway it’s been at least 19yrs since I have seen this band and they sound just as good as ever! (1989 I believe.. I think it was the Dr. Feelgood tour because I remember the back up singers were wearing nurses uniforms!) Oh the Nostalgia of it all.. oh the bad hair of it all…

When this tour was announced, initially me and Rosie decided this was gonna be an awesome weekend.. maybe even rent a room.. We had seen Scott with Velvet Revolver a year ago play at this place and liked the Venue.. Not to mention it was at “The Borgata” very upscale.. and an excuse to get dolled up and dance the night away after the fact.. Anyway.. plans changed.. Rosie got invited to a wedding on the same night & bailed on me.. boohoo.. what’s an STP loving girl to do with her favorite band just 2 hours away??

Jones Beach, Long Island.. I had no intention of going to this show… I’ve never driven out to this place in my life.. and was a little weary of the idea of doing so.. but.. Rosie had this friend.. who had a son.. who supposedly worked at the venue.. who said “just buy any tickets, he will upgrade your seat when you get there..” well I will admit the whole thing seemed too good to be true.. But I went along with it and hoped for the best…
